After winning the Miss Asia-Pacific crown, Diya was flooded with ad offers, music albums, apart from catching the fancy of Bollywood directors. This incident occurred while she was shooting for a TV commercial.The ad was for a soap that claims to be made of milk, possessing all the wholesome goodness of the drink. This is whether the perfectionist in the art directors of the ad agency came in. He ordered for gallons of cold milk. The reason? So, that it looked Authentic. A feel of the real thing, you know.

To take a dip in it would already have given Diya the shivers. But that wasn`t all. The milk had to be kept in a cold atmosphere so that it wouldn`t split. The AC was blasting away, therefore, at sub-zero temperature. Not to forget all the ice cubes within the liquid.

When all was set, the director ordered Diya to get into the `cool comfort` of the tank in the minimal of clothes.That wasn`t all, Diya had to emerge from the freezing fluid, all glowing, running her fingers over her komal mulayam chehra.
